“Fast from the Past”: This collection includes photographs that were made in America during the Great Depression (in the period from 1929 to 1940). All thesepictures were taken in small towns in the U.S., and represent a typical picture of life at that time. All these photos are the property of U.S. Congress Library. In 2006, along with other photos are shown at the exhibition Bound for Glory. This is the first major exhibition of little-known color photographs taken by photographers of the Administration for the Protection of Farmers (FSA) and Office of War Information(OWI). The exhibition was presented 70 prints made from color slides.
